4 months!

Micah had his 4 month check up on Wednesday! He weighs 17 pounds and is 27 inches long...looking like he'll be staying in the 95th percentile :)

A few new things going on in his world now

He can roll over and he loves it!

Missouri

We finally took a vacation to Missouri. This trip was so exciting because it was the first time Dylan's family met Micah! I was a little nervous about the plane ride because I wasn't sure how Micah would do, but he did great! :) The whole week we were there we relaxed during the day then in the evenings family and friends came over to meet the little guy. It was such a great trip! We can't wait to go back!

Two Months!

Micah had his two month check up a couple of weeks ago. I was NOT looking forward to this appointment because I knew he'd have to get a few shots. For those of you who aren't around Micah much, the boy hardly ever cries! The only time I ever hear him cry is when he's in his car seat (which can make for some pretty long car rides although he is getting a lot better). Other than that, he will make little noises to let you know he's unhappy - but that's very rare. He cried when he got his shots, but right when I picked him up he was all smiles :) He now weighs 14 1/2 lbs (95th percentile) and is 24 1/2 in long (90th percentile)!

Father's Day!

Father's Day started on Saturday night - Dylan and I got to go out on a little date :) We went to one of Dylan's favorite places to eat, Red Orchids. Afterwards, I told Dylan I wanted to do whatever he wanted since we were celebrating him being a daddy :) What did he decide? Walk around Barnes and Noble and look at finance books. Needless to say - I was reminding myself over and over again that it was his day :)

Sunday after church, we went to my parents house for lunch. We had a great relaxing day.

I'm so blessed to have Dylan as my husband. I'm thankful that Micah has such a great man of God to look up to. We love you Daddy!

Just a Beginner

Dylan started this blog and it's now my job to keep up with it. I have to admit now - I don't think I'll be very good at it! I keep thinking - what in the world will I write about that people will actually care to read. If anything, you can just see pictures of this little guy who melts my heart...and looks just like his daddy :)
